Today was the slackest day i have had since the start of 2009. The celebration performance at HCI was really not captivating. Besides the wushu and chinese dance performance, all the other activities were self-indulging and dry. Nygh's CNY concert is so much better if comparison is to be made, at least the AV system is error-free and the atmosphere is jovial. But the councilors did do a great job in setting up the stage and putting up the decorations at the Central Plaza.

The year of ox is arriving in les than 3 days but i think i will enjoy the 6 continous days of sch hols more than CNY itself. I have really yet to feel any joy and anticipation, actually i am currently listening to CNY songs on youtube now while writing this entry to provide some inspiration. LOL. I realised the songs released by other countries are of better quality than the ones from mediacorp. At least the lyrics they have are customised by the year and they dont have middle-aged artistes waving mandarin oranges in an idiotic manner.

I think i will just be staying at home for tmr and the day after since nothing urgent is calling for my attention. And maybe do some superficial household chores to patronise my mum.
