my blog is so dead that i feel compelled to revive it somehow. so here i am, feeling like Jesus Christ while carrying out my resurrection plan. ehhh, did Christ resurrect himself or somebody else? heck, i have never been a religious person anyway.
well, i stepped out of the nanyang gate yesterday in hongzi for the last time in my life. I was lamenting abt the architecture of the pavement leading to the backgate since everyone is destined to get wet there when it rains. And suddenly a wave of melancholy swept over me when jiayi told me not to complain since it's the final time we will be there. Awww, it's one of the rare times when i get a little emotional and i felt like making use of this opportunity to get dramatic. like maybe rush out into the rain and shout something touching to the looming clouds? maybe jiayi can come and give me an empathetic pat on the shoulder or even join me in saying farewell to the sch. LOL. just kidding. after about 3 seconds, i was back to my normal self but decided to complain abt the hwa chong gate next yr instead. this is my way of saying:' I love nanyang, I really do.'
i saw a guy at fairprice with a ironing board tucked under his arms and he looked like he was holding a surfing board instead. cos he was wearing wad any other guy at the seaside will wear. so i thought of going up to tell him, 'is this place anywhere near the beach?' and i imagined him answering,' ehh no, i am going to the swimming pool.' i tot this conversation was quite funny and laughed all the way down the escalator. but nope, it is only my envision and didnt happen in reality, if u can even understand my humor this time round.
alright, i saw the following online and tot it was quite creative.
A person took up a translation course and handed in this piece of work. He was awarded full marks in the word-to-word translation. so far so good.

But unfortunately he fumbled in the phrase-to-phrase translation.
How Are You? : 怎么是你?
How Old are You? : 怎么老是你?
so there for today, going off to watch quantum of solace with my sis right now.
